1960 Pacer. At sixteen and one-half feet and weighing 2500 pounds, the Pacer was the most diminutive trailer that Airstream manufactured in 1958, 1959 and 1960. In 1961, the Bambi replaced the Pacer. All of these modestly scaled trailers are highly desirable among collectors. The owners of this Pacer, which they call, "the Silver Twinkee", spent a lot of time and elbow grease restoring their vintage trailer. During the polishing phase of their restoration they wore out two electric buffers while applying three jars of "Mother's" polish.
