A flowing bullnosed stair finished in clay pavers and hand-painted tile welcomes passersby to the circular entrance tower of this Long Beach home dating from the late Twenties. The round-arched front door, paired casement windows, and pierced grille are familiar Spanish Revival details; however, the subtle outswelling of the door surround is an unusual touch. The stair and flanking walls are a modern addition, yet strive to maintain the architectural imagery of the original home.
